All proceeds from these events will benefit the Kroc Scholarship Program. Each of the four BBQs will be held on the 2nd Monday of each month beginning in June and ending in September.\nWestern Illinois Pork Producers and The Salvation Army Staff will be serving pork burgers and pork chop sandwiches in The Kroc Center courtyard located at 405 Vermont St. from 11 am-1 pm. DESCRIPTION:Bridge the Gap to Health Race!\nRegistration is open! \nFor 20 years\, Quincy Medical Group’s (QMG) Bridge the Gap to Health Race has brought people from near and far together to support local patients in affording life-saving medications through Quincy Catholic Charities’ MedAssist Program. The 21st annual race will take place on May 15\, 2021\, in Quincy.   \nThis year’s race will have a different look due to upcoming construction on the Memorial Bridge.  The race will utilize routes from previous years by adding the miles that would normally be across the bridges to the beautiful scenic route of Maine St in Quincy\, Illinois. \nYou have two options when registering: \n\nIN-PERSON: Participate in the 5K run/walk\, 10K run\, and half marathon run in Quincy IL on Saturday\, May 15\, 2021\n\nOR \n\nVIRTUAL: Participate in the 5K run/walk\, 10K run\, half marathon run\, and Kids Fun Run event from any location anytime between May 13 -17\, 2021.\n\nBoth options will include t-shirt and medal with your registration fee. Due to COVID guidelines and for everyone’s safety\, the race will be limited to 1\,800 participants. Waves of 50 people will start every 5 minutes\, and you choose your wave time when you pay your registration fee. Learn more on our registration page.
