Experience Lil’ Ed and The Blues Imperials Live at 2025 Blues In The District August 22 Concert

Lil’ Ed and The Blues Imperials are set to electrify the stage at the 2025 Blues In The District concert presented by Blessing Health System, bringing their signature high-energy blues sound to music fans. Scheduled for August 22 at Quincy’s Washington Park, this unforgettable concert promises a night of powerful performances, soulful guitar riffs, and dynamic showmanship. Whether you’re a longtime blues enthusiast or new to the genre, this event is a must-see.

While Lil’ Ed and The Blues Imperials have played the Chicago Blues Festival multiple times, the band has also appeared at The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Portland’s Waterfront Blues Festival, The Tampa Bay Blues Festival, The San Diego Blues Festival, The Pennsylvania Blues Festival and dozens of other festivals around the country. Satisfying worldwide demand, they have performed at music festivals in Canada, Great Britain, France, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Japan, Australia, India, Turkey and Panama.

With each album release, the band’s national and international stature grew as their fan base —known internationally as “Ed Heads”— continued to expand. The band’s fiery music has more than stood the test of time. Night after night, gig after riotous gig, the musical family called Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials bring their big, dynamic Chicago blues sound to fans across the country and around the world.

Not only are concert goers invited to bring friends, but also food, drinks, and lawn chairs for a great time in Washington Park. Because, however, everyone enjoys food trucks, on-site food for this concert will be 8te Open & Big Bro’s BBQ. During the concert, free kids activities will be available the southwest corner until 8 p.m., sponsored by Blessing Health System in partnership with Quincy Children’s Museum.
