Light the Park

Each year theDistrict Light the Park committee comes together to plan this wonderful family-focused event. “This year, new lighting displays have been added to Washington Park. And once again the light poles–stretching from 4th to 12th Streets down Maine–will be donned with festive lights and greenery.”
Adults and children alike will enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas during this event. In addition to visiting with Santa from 6-8:30.
Santa will return to Washington Park each Thursday in December–3, 10, and 17—5-7pm. Santa in The Park, formerly known as Thursdays in The Park, gives children three additional opportunities to visit with Santa and for families to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
