Hidden Gems of Quincy – Unique Spaces TourS

Step inside some of Downtown Quincy’s most distinctive spaces during The District’s Unique Spaces Tours on Saturday, May 16 from 9am to 2pm. These guided tours will showcase three standout locations within the 92 blocks that make up The District: The Armory 416 Jersey,  DoubleTree by Hilton (formerly Atrium on Third) 201 South 3rd, and Tower on Maine (formerly WCU Building) 510 Maine.

Tickets are available for purchase now through noon on Friday, May 15 for $15 each or $20 each on May 16 (exact cash only or via card) at the DoubleTree (formerly the Atrium Hotel)–the check-in location.

DOWNTOWN RENTAL REHAB SESSIONS & SCHEDULED TOUR TIMES

This year’s event has been revamped to include set tour times at each location and one set check-in/day-of ticket-purchasing location–the Atrium Hotel, 201 South 3rd. “This is where attendees will receive their Unique Spaces Passport (ticket),” stated The District Executive Director Brianna Rivera. “After check-in, guests will attend a short presentation by Bret Austin of All Phase Property Solutions regarding the Downtown Rental Rehabilitation opportunities and process. Coffee and light refreshments will be served. After attending the presentation, tour guests are welcome to start their tour at any of the three locations. “Guests do not have to start their tours at the hotel,” stated Rivera. Attendees are welcome to stroll over to The Armory or start at Tower on Maine.

The Downtown Rental Rehabilitation opportunities and process presentation will be given at 9:40am, 10:45am, 11:30am, 12:15pm, 1pm, and 1:45pm.

SCHEDULED TOUR TIMES
10am • 10:45am
11:30am •12:15pm
1pm • 1:45 pm (last tour)

>> Each guided experience lasts approximately 30-40 minutes.
>> Attendees are encouraged to arrive 5-10 minutes early to each location, as space may be limited per tour.
>> Tours begin promptly at scheduled times, and guests who miss a session are welcome to join the next available tour.

“In 2025 we hosted Loft Tours. This year we decided to expand the tours,” said Rivera. “These expanded and exclusive tours invite guests beyond the storefronts and into some of Downtown Quincy’s most distinctive and inspiring spaces.” From beautifully restored historic buildings to creatively reimagined interiors, visitors will explore architectural gems, upper-story spaces, hidden corners, and locally owned businesses that showcase the character and craftsmanship that define The District.

Accessibility is limited to the first floor at The Armory. Both Tower on Maine and Atrium Hotel at Third, DoubleTree by Hilton have elevators for attendees with limited mobility.

IMPORTANT: Tower on Maine Additional Sign-Up Required
Due to limited space, Tower on Maine requires a separate sign-up for attendees’ preferred tour time. Information regarding this separate sign-up will be sent with ticket purchase confirmation.

Rivera added, “Whether you’re a history lover, design enthusiast, or simply curious about what’s behind the doors of Downtown, this tour offers a fresh perspective on the heart of our community.”
