Banned Book Club

To read? Or not to Read? Is often the question that comes up with banned and challenged books.
This book club answers that question with a big ‘Heck Yes!’

This is the inaugural meeting of the club and we will be planning what books to read and brainstorming ideas on discussions. Nothing needs to be read for this meeting.

The Banned Book Club reads exclusively books that have been Banned or Challenged. Each month, the club reads and meets to discusses a book. (Or just discusses if you didn’t get the chance to read or finish the book. It happens, no pressure…)

The library is able to provide copies of the books through our library, local consortium, or inter-library loan. You need the book? We will find it and have it ready for you on the holds shelf!

Prefer a digital copy or audio book? We have you covered there too. Just use one of our apps (Libby or Hoopla) to borrow your copy.

Is your schedule a little too complicated or flu season has you down or simple prefer home to anywhere else? No worries, this is a hybrid book club and will have the availability for you to Zoom in for the discussions.
