Join us in the Trick ‘r Treat In The District with Teal Pumpkin Locations!
Presented by Quincy Medical Group on Saturday, Oct. 26 2019 from 10 AM – 2 PM!
What is the Teal Pumpkin Project? Teal Pumpkin Project is about creating a safe & happy Halloween that every child is able to fully take part in, by offering non-food treats as an alternative to candy.

Stop by the First-Mid Bank & Trust Plaza (7th & Maine) to pick up a map of all of the participating businesses. Then head out for a day of trick-or-treating in The District! Many participating businesses will be “Teal Pumpkin” stops, meaning that they will be offering non-food items for trick or treaters. The map provided will indicate which businesses are “Teal Pumpkin”.
The Quincy Farmer’s Market (open from 8 AM – 1 PM) will be a trick or treat stop. Mini Pumpkins will be available to trick or treaters, courtesy of Quincy Medical Group.
The Quincy Public Library will be holding a Halloween Themed Story Time at 10:15AM on the stage in the First Mid Bank & Trust Plaza.
Throughout the event, members of Square Peg Group Troupe will be appearing in costumes and be available for pictures with trick or treaters.

Activities at First Mid Bank & Trust Plaza:
The Quincy Public Library will be holding a Halloween Themed Story Time at 10:15AM on the stage in the First Mid Bank & Trust Plaza.
At 11:15 AM join us for a Mad Science Experiment show by the Quincy Senior High School Science Department. They will also be offering a hands-on science table throughout the event(10-2).
Throughout the event, members of Square Peg Group Troupe will be appearing in costumes and be available for pictures with trick or treaters (10 AM – 12:30 PM).
The Quincy Art Center will be set up with a halloween art project!
