The longtime Quincy holiday tradition ChristKindl Market will once again be held at The Armory Event Center, 416 Jersey Street, November 13–15. Featuring more than 30 vendors, the three-day holiday shopping event will offer visitors an opportunity to discover unique gifts, handmade goods, specialty foods, vintage finds and other one-of-a-kind treasures while enjoying live music, local food and beverages, and plenty of holiday cheer.
“Having the Market at The Armory allows the show to be accessible—especially for those who have walking impairments or can’t navigate steps,” stated The District Executive Director Brianna Rivera. “Everyone loves this event because of its festive, unique holiday atmosphere.”
The Market will open with a Preview Party on Friday, November 13, giving shoppers the first opportunity to browse this year’s vendors before the event opens to the public. Sponsored by Jan Smith, Happel Inc. Realtors, the Preview Party will feature live acoustic music from Gregory Haubrich, food from Platt Daddy BBQ, beverages from EFB Coffee & Roastery, and The Armory Bar. Preview Party admission is $10 and includes access to the Market throughout the entire weekend, a sneak peek at the vendors, one drink ticket, and a shopping tote provided by Jan Smith, Happel Inc. Realtor for the first 100 shoppers. Tickets will go on sale October 1 and can be purchased at bit.ly/2026CKM_PP.
The Market continues Saturday and Sunday with live entertainment throughout the weekend. The Stings Ensemble from Javaux Music School will perform Saturday, while harpist Sarah Boren will provide Sunday’s music backdrop. Platt Daddy BBQ, Electric Fountain Brewing, and The Armory Bar will also be available throughout the weekend.
Sunday will bring an extra bit of holiday magic when Santa visits the Market from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bower & Associates is excited to sponsor St. Nick’s visit that gives families an opportunity to stop in, enjoy the festivities, and share their Christmas wishes.
“Everyone loves this event because of its festive, unique holiday atmosphere.”
